i bought this book because as a writer I am always looking to better myself. How to write hot sex better- how to write with the BDSM element. What i didn't realize in purchasing this book was how much it helps me communicate what i want with my spouse. Read it here, read it there or read it with a spouse- Loved how she added real life instances so that my spouse understands that is not just me- or its not just him. Tymber Dalton shows the reader that there are ways to implement the lifestyle choices that some chose to have and that it is okay to have these choices. As a fan of erotica I have read a few Tymber Dalton books. As an erotica writer I've not ventured into BDSM and don't know if I will but after reading Tymber's books I wanted to learn more. It's a great reference with so much detail in such a little package!
I enjoyed the author's way of explaining the ins and outs of this world, and felt at the end of the book, I had a better handle on the information.
I found this to be a great resource and would encourage other aspring writes of BDSM to check out this book. Tymber writes in a style that makes for a quick and informative conversational read. Nicely formatted and loaded with details that could spice up any story.
This is a great book for an author who is wanting to write a story on BDSM or with elements of it in the plot but who does not have any experience in the lifestyle. Tymber Dalton covers all the major and minor points with thoroughness and a "pinch" of humor. This should be on the bookshelf/ carousel of any writer looking to spice up their work.
Ms. Dalton is a writer that I enjoy so very much. Her voice is one that flows with a great cadence. The information contained does give the reader an excellent primer for the lifestyle.
For anyone who wants a basic introduction into the world of Dominance and submission, this is a good place to start.

It is blunt, but handled in a such a way that someone who is not familiar with the material, lifestyle or sexual preferences has the resources to write with some authority.
